What is SHARE?
SHARE is a nonprofit food buying club that offers good, nutritious products at reduced cost through a volunteer-run, community-based distribution system. SHARE’s volunteer network can help you save 30-50% compared to grocery store prices. SHARE’s mission is to build and strengthen community through volunteer service.
Who is SHARE for?
Everyone is welcome to save money on food and help their community as a member of SHARE. There are no income guidelines, membership fees or eligibility requirements. Look below to find out how to join--all you have to do is place an order!
Where is SHARE?
Lake Superior SHARE is an affiliate of SHARE of SE Wisconsin. Our mission is to strengthen communities through service for the common good in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan and Illinois. Volunteer staff operate a self-help distribution system providing access to nutritious food at a reduced cost without regard to age, income, or residency.

What food does SHARE offer?
Pick and choose the food you want by shopping on our website or by using a paper order form. Products change every month, but they always include a wide selection of good, nutritious products, such as frozen meats, fresh fruits and vegetables, certified organic produce and other grocery items. On our website you can see pictures of recently offered products. SHARE also offers complete family dinner packages for the holidays.
How can I help? SHARE encourages members to volunteer either with the food distribution team in their area, or elsewhere in the community. There are thousands of ways you can get involved. Help unload the SHARE truck. Help out at your church or senior center. SHARE encourages you to make a difference in your own life and in the lives of others. IF YOU ARE PLACING AN ORDER FOR THE FIRST TIME…
Basic info about SHARE:
--There are no dues or membership eligibility rules. You do not have to order each month.
--If you need help with an order form, please call 879-9238 and ask for a volunteer who can help you.
--Items can be ordered individually (except for produce) The big value, mini, and holiday meal packages offered are assortments that the warehouse decides, and is priced a little less than if you bought each item separately.
--The deluxe produce assortment and the organic produce items are sold only as assortments. What particular fruits and vegetables are included is not known ahead of time when you place your order.
If you want to pay with a credit or debit card:
1. Decide what you want to purchase from this order form and call the warehouse directly toll-free at 1-800-548-2124 8:30AM-4:00PM before March 10.
2. Tell then you are ready to place an order with "Carlton SHARE."

If you want to pay with a check or money order:
1. Decide what you want to purchase from this order form and mail in your form with payment postmarked by Tuesday, March 10th.
2. Put "Carlton" next to "Host Site" at the top of the form. Make your check/money order payable to "SHARE"
3. Mail it all to SHARE, PO Box 161154, Duluth, MN 55816
If you want to pay with an EBT food stamp card:
There are 2 choices:
> Decide what you want to purchase from this order form and call the warehouse directly toll-free at 1-800-548-2124 8:30AM-4:00PM before March 10. Tell them you want the Carlton Site.
OR
> Mail in your order. First thing, put your EBT card number across the top of the order form above your name and tell us what day your funds are deposited. We will schedule the withdrawal for payment for that day; that way you won't have to worry that the order deadline comes before your deposit. Then mail in your form by Tuesday, March 10th to SHARE, PO Box 161154, Duluth, MN 55816.
