WELCA collects money each Fall for Thanksgiving and Christmas food vouchers.
Bethesda has an ongoing Food Shelf collection.

We are collecting pop can tabs for the Ronald McDonald House, Box Tops and 5 cent milk caps for our local schools. We also collect the following items for C.A.R.E: (Community Addiction Recovery Enterprise formerly Liberalis) shampoo, toothpaste, lotion, body wash, Tampax, sanitary pads, combs, deodorant, soap, calendars, greeting cards, note cards. No mouth wash or anything with alcohol.  Bins for these items are located on the shelf in the small closet nook right outside the Fellowship Hall.

Attention: Bethesda is no longer collecting Shiny Paper effective immediately
Due to the decline in the types of recycle paper needed by their customers, Verso Duluth Mill is discontinuing the shiny paper Recycling Program. As a result, Bethesda is discontinuing the collection of all shiny paper, magazines, and white printer paper. Thank you to everyone who has donated to this fundraiser for Fishers of Men over the years. Verso does desire to reinstate this program in the future and we will keep you updated with any changes. Any questions please contact Bethesda at 384-4501. Thank you.
