Bethesda Evangelical Lutheran Church

"We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." 2 Corinthians 5:20-21

Mission Statement
"Our committee is responsible to encourage the church to think beyond its walls and equip Bethesda for the task of witness."

The members of the Evangelism Committee have thought for quite some time about our committee and what it does. Evangelism is such a huge job and we would assume that everyone in the congregation does it in some form or another when they talk about God, the Church and Christianity in general outside of Bethesda.  Our committee works to welcome new members and guests to our church. We encourage current members and attendees through Christian friendship and activities throughout the year. We support members, graduates and other committees. We work well as a team in Christ. So whether we are viewed as a new committee or a sub-committee, we are now Bethesda WEST, the Welcome, Encourage, and Support Team. With a less formal name and a narrower focus, we welcome new members to our team. We typically meet the second Tuesday of the month.

Bethesda welcomes everyone. If you or someone you know would like more information about our congregation and how to become a member, download the following documents.
