Bethesda Evangelical Lutheran Church

Worship times:

Sunday         9:00 AM
Wednesday  5:30 PM light meal, worship with communion at 6:30 PM

In 2016, Bethesda shifted from a traditional Sunday School to an inter-generation faith formation model which blends learning and worship. Learning opportunities are available Wednesdays and Sundays. Wednesday S.T.O.R.Y., Word And Worship offers learning opportunities for all ages (birth to adult). It starts at 5:30 PM with a community meal and discussion of a Bible story. Then, worshippers enter the sanctuary for worship with communion. Sunday Story Time offers learning opportunities for children up to age 8 from 9:00 AM - about 9:25 AM in the fellowship hall. Children who gather for weekly lessons in the fellowship hall will join their families in the Sanctuary for the last part of the worship service.
We offer worship with Holy Communion each Sunday.
On the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month, we worship out of our Evangelical Lutheran Worship (ELW) book setting 4.

On the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month, we worship out of our Glory, Honor and Praise Hymnal.

In months that have five Sundays, Bethesda celebrates a Service of the Word for Healing on the 5th Sunday using our Evangelical Lutheran Worship (ELW) book setting 8.

Come experience the power of prayers for healing!
